Trayvon

Jasiri X does his part in shining the light on George Zimmerman. Someone who should have been under an interrogation light by now. Self defense, my ass. Shooting stranger danger breaking into your house is self defense. Shooting someone attacking you is self defense. Following and shooting a kid you deemed suspicious because he’s

1). Black
2). Wearing a hoodie
3). Black
4). Walking in your gated community
5). Black

is NOT self defense.

But the kid was carrying a deadly can of tea. Homeland Security won’t let you carry that on an airplane, so you certainly shouldn’t be carrying it on the street.

Right wing laws conceived in fear and loathing empower the paranoid, the delusional, the psychopaths, and the righteous who refuse to think or are incapable of it.

Arizona wants to create and arm civilian militias to patrol their border areas. Imagine the number of accidental shootings of Latinos.

Imagine an America where guns are not considered the answer to every problem.

Imagine an America where guns and money and violence and celebrity are not objects of veneration and worship.

    Imagine that.

For the record, just in case it matters, I couldn’t watch the video. Rap music sets my teeth on edge. Seriously.

There’s a lot more that we haven’t been told about George Zimmerman either that makes you wonder why he is still free at this time.

What Everyone Should Know About Trayvon Martin

Black kid in hoodie with iced tea & Skittles = dangerous gangbanger thug…..shoot him

White kid in hoodie with iced tea and Skittles = emo hipster skateboarder…leave him alone

It will be very interesting to see how this case plays out, and what effect it will have on the various “Stand Your Ground” laws around the country. I have a feeling itchy trigger fingers will get worse before they get better.

Only in an ignorant, racist, and corrupt community would, “He had a hoodie, and a bag of skittles so I had to shoot him to defend myself” be considered an actual sentence.

I keep thinking Zimmerman must be connected to someone who is connected to the police. He seems too much of a paranoid loser/bully for the cops just to protect him without there being a father, uncle, etc – someone connected – in the food chain. Now of course, the cops are just protecting themselves. The only person who wasn’t protected was Trayvon Martin.

The whole thing makes my blood boil.

You know, that’s an interesting observation. Maybe he is connected. Why would they “correct” witnesses’ statements. Maybe to make it sound like it was self-defense so they won’t be on the hook for not arresting him. The chief “temporarily” resigned, and they’re going with another prosecutor. Glad that the outrage of the people is being heard.

We can thank another Bush for this….for Jeb signed this law into effect in 2005, I believe and it made it possible for Zimmerman to walk.
