Santorum Wants to Save our Kids from…Preschool?

Santorum Calls Early Education Programs an Effort ‘to Indoctrinate your Children’

Attention parents: If your child is attending preschool or Head Start, you just handed them over to Socialists. What were you thinking?

GOP Primary Candidate Rick Santorum:

“It is a parent’s responsibility to educate their children. It is not the government’s job. We have sort of lost focus here a little bit. Of course, the government wants their hands on your children as fast as they can. That is why I opposed all these early starts and pre-early starts, and early-early starts. They want your children from the womb so they can indoctrinate your children as to what they want them to be. I am against that,” he said.

And here I thought they were just learning colors, singing songs, and playing. Nope. Look at the schedule and how the curriculum is just dripping with Socialist ideals:

9:00 AM Smurf coloring books: Collectivist society headed by an old leader in a red hat?

10:00 AM Outside play: “Red Rover, Red Rover, Send Jenny Right Over.” ‘Nuff said.

10:30 AM Snack Time: Each child gets exactly 2 cookies and  1 juice box. No more, no less.

11:00 AM Story Time: Oh the Places You Will Go! Mm hmm. Like gay pride parades and college with their Marxist professors?

Rick Santorum is absolutely right in not supporting early childhood education. You send your precious Timmy in, and out comes Tim the radical, gay eco-terrorist who renounced his U.S. citizenship and joined some vegan commune in…Europe. *gasp*

He’s just jealous that the “socialist” are competing with the religious zealots who start taking their kids to church sunday schools at birth to be indoctrinated.

Who will save us from Santorum and the like? Something awful happened to him during his childhood to make him such a paranoid and narrow minded fool.

    Public school indioctrination sucks.
It is MUCH better to be home-schooled by paranoid parents who will teach you that allowing gay marriage will lead to legalized, forced bestiality; blacks were much better off as slaves; middle eastern terrorists hate America because they just woke up one day with a grudge and that’s just what Muslims do, and the founding fathers were totally down with theocracy. And at story/nap time, you can all sit around and remember that time Mom and Dad brought your dead baby brother home to spend the night.
Bet the economics lessons are to DIE for!

      😆 @ forced beastiality

The dead baby would make for a great campfire scary story. It still gives me the heebies. 😯

      D.C. Martin,

I know you weren’t painting with a broad brush, but I feel like I have to say that not all parents who homeschool their kids are whacked-out fools. I homeschool my kids and they aren’t taught anything they wouldn’t be taught in a public school.

Santorum has his head so far up his ass that he has to get his teeth cleaned by a proctologist.

Welcome to the wonderful world of bizarro!

Another reason I left conservative politics. Once the child leaves the womb, it’s enitrely up to the parents…That child’s life doesn’t mean anything to them anymore.

There is no logic behind it at all. A girl who knows she isn’t ready to be a parent is forced – if conservatives have their way – to be a parent, but receives absolutely no help once the child is born. Absurd.

You all know I’m pro-life. I reject abortion. But I’m pro-life from conception until natural death. I say we create an environment in which no person feels like abortion is their only option. If we focus more on that and less on waving signs depicting bloody body parts, thereby making women feel even worse, we might just acheive our goal of no more abortions, or at the very least drastically reduce the number.

Or, maybe we should just pray about it……………….

Idiots. God gave us the power to change things. The sooner they realize that, the better off we’ll all be.

Definitely. For me, it seems like they are all about the fetuses. Once they are born, WIC? Food stamps? Healthcare? Oh hell no. We shouldn’t shoulder what is supposed to be their responsibilty. Um, they knew they were poor when they convinced them not to have the abortion. Don’t stop at the fetus. Show you care about the child, too. Don’t cut those programs.

i honestly think santorum has driven himself insane. he’s taken religion and turned it into an obsession. he feels guilt over every human emotion he’s able to squeeze out, and all that repression had made him nuts.
