    Spinny,

Frankly, the only despicable act discussed in the video is abortion. I certainly don’t laud the screaming at and belittling of those entering an abortion clinic, but we don’t know exactly what those two women said, because conveniently, the father did not think to record it. His purpose, I believe, was to make a counter political statement, and he made an ass of himself doing so. Referring to abortion protestors as the lowest common denominator? Please. They’re not the one’s inside the clinic ripping apart unborn children.

The angry father’s emotional comments are understandable but does little more than vent. We need people who can confront anti-abortioists and get them to rationalize why they don’t carry their pro-life issues to the fullest extent and publicly protest wars and the death penalty. Perhaps some do but you would never know it by their own public displays.

We need to challenge such dedicated anti-abortionist to confront the very real possibility that aborting unwanted pregnancies in the earliest stages are painful for the woman but can have deeper psychological impacts if they carry it to full term and are now forced to either give it up for adoption or keep it and live a life they were not prepared for. They are not always happy-ending experiences as those protesters would have many believe.

You’re definitely right about the venting. And I like the idea of showing them the not happy-ending experiences. I don’t know if they really care about that though. Once she doesn’t have the abortion, they succeeded. When she gives birth, it’s no longer their problem because she was the irresponsible one.

      lbwoodgate,

      Wow.

I’m at a loss for words. Do you know those two women depicted in the video? Do you know their position on war and capital punishment? Have you forgotten my position on capital punishment? Why do you feel the need to neatly place people into little boxes based on a single issue? Not smart.

      A rather common pro-choice myth.

From The British Journal of Psychiatry, a peer-reviewed journal.

There is no evidence in this research that would suggest that unwanted pregnancies that come to term were associated with increased risks of mental health problems or that abortion mitigated the risks of mental health problems in women having unwanted pregnancy.

Will the pro-abortion lies never stop?

Furthermore, research which shows mental problems following a term pregnancy rarely take into consideration the biological impact of giving birth, the hormonal imbalances, and the kinship of the newborn which, over time, often alleviates the issue. In short, abortion is far more damaging to mental health than birth. Period. End. Of. Story.
