Out-Of-State Supporters Pick Up Tab For Protesters
Pizza! Get your pizza! Ian’s Pizza in downtown Madison near the Capitol was flooded with calls on Saturday to have their famous Mac n’ Cheese pizzas delivered to the protesters. They even got calls from Canada and Denmark! They wrote about it on their website: Ian’s Pizza. Apparently, they’re making the Mac n’ Cheese ones because they’re huge and very filling. There is a lot of union love out there.
Being a pesto pizza lover myself, I’m not really too sure about Mac n’ Cheese pizzas, but to each their own.
Dear Union Protesters,
Here are 5 pies from a union daughter in California. Keep warm, and keep fighting the good fight!
Love,
Spinny

I ordered 5, too, but only for the Tea Party protestors….
🙂

All good. Helps a small business just the same. 🙂

I’m not that ignorant, Spinny. I order for all. I don’t support their message, but I support their Right to do what they are doing, however misguided, and they deserve to be fed, to be warm, et cetera, while they are doing it.

Even better. 🙂

You over ordered by a long shot. According to an AP report, “Hundreds of tea party supporters staged a counter rally outside the Capitol”. Still a lot of pizzas but nowhere near the wishful thinking number of 5000 🙂

It is good to see us figthing back. The Tea Party folks had the upper-hand long enough last year.

I like showing them we can be just as feisty. 😉
Thanks for visiting Neil! The picture you have of Lincoln and Washington hugging is so cute! 🙂

This is a great idea. Other people outside are getting involved too. I understand that
The HuffPo has noted that “Rage Against the Machine” guitarist, Tom Morello has stated an interest in playing there to support the cause. Morello says “the fight for collective bargaining rights is personal to him. I really think that the future of the rights of working people in this country is not going to be decided in the courts. It’s not going to be decided in Congress or radio talk shows. The future of rights of working people in this country will be the fight on the streets of Madison, Wisconsin.”

That is so awesome! I always loved Rage Against the Machine. They can be very political and supported the boycott on AZ. Love their song “Killing in the Name.”

I much prefer Elvis anyway. In fact, I’m listening to “Are You Lonesome Tonight?” Just watched The Gameplan and The Rock (i.e., Dwayne Johnson) has a shockingly wonderful voice, at least when singing Elvis.
Have you guys noticed the absence of someone? Kendrick hasn’t posted anything since the 14th. Wonder what the hell happened to him.

Never mind. He just posted something today. Looks like he’s O.K.!

Elvis? Wow. I still remember checking out Graceland on a cross country road trip when I was a child.
Whew. Yeah, I figured he was just enjoying visiting his son and Israel.

‘Eh, I’m young but I like the classics. Punk Rock is my favorite, though. And by that I don’t mean original Punk Rock; I mean new.
